Founder's Message - The Journey

     Never......

     Would I imagine my journey within the criminal justice arena          would encompass incarceration, addiction and homicide within my immediate family.  

 I concluded this was the mission of my calling when I said in that McDonald's parking lot years ago  "Yes, Lord, I'll go"

 These experiences has sanctioned my ability to empathize and advocate for impacted families on both sides of the justice involved spectrum.

     In truth, both offenders and victims coexist within our communities; it may be uncomfortable to some yet it is a reality.  Statistics indicate the majority of incarcerated offenders are not for violent offenses.  It's said "some people we're afraid of and some we're extremely mad with, there is a big difference." 

Our Community

     We are extremely grateful and honored to share this work with our community of dedicated partners, families, and volunteers, many of whom have been impacted by justice experiences.
