 The Juvenile Justice Information Exchange (JJIE) is the only publication covering juvenile justice and related issues nationally on a consistent, daily basis.  

The National Incarceration Association

is a relationship-driven movement that addresses the impact of incarceration through the lens of families; a movement to connect what works – to what is still needed – to what we know we have the power to do.

 The Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, public interest law center with the mission to increase justice in Georgia through law and policy reform and community engagement. We seek a Georgia where the voices of poor people, children, and marginalized people are heard and where injustices that no one should endure are resolved. Despite its small staff, Georgia Appleseed has been able to address serious issues of public concern by enlisting the volunteer services of lawyers and other professionals from around the state. 

 Child law and juvenile policy reform, while an important end in itself, also serves as the vehicle to provide experiential learning of skills and tools that make lawyers effective in a wide range of settings. Examples include government agencies, public interest law offices, advocacy groups or think tanks, legislative staffs, serving as an elected official, and lobbying at state and federal levels. Skills such as drafting, research, collaboration, and negotiation are also invaluable in business and transactional settings.  

 The Southern Center for Human Rights was founded in 1976 by ministers and activists concerned about criminal justice issues in response to the Supreme Court's reinstatement of the death penalty that year and to the horrendous conditions in Southern prisons and jails.
